New NMAX 155 Tech MAX

Benefitting from unique new YECVT (Yamaha Electric Continuously Variable Transmission) technology and featuring pure MAX styling, the dynamic new NMAX 155 Tech MAX adds another dimension to Yamaha’s highly successful Sport Scooter line up for the 2026 model year.

The NMAX 155 Tech MAX’s YECVT (Yamaha Electric Continuously Variable Transmission) enables you to select ‘Sport’ or ‘Town’ engine performance modes to suit your mood – and the new downshift function instantly delivers stronger acceleration and increased engine braking – giving you the added controllability and sportier feeling of a geared motorcycle.

The Sport mode giving greater engine braking than Town mode, particularly in the mid-speed region between 60km/h and 30 km/h. The mode is selected using the left side switchgear, and when turning off and restarting the NMAX 155 Tech MAX it will retain the last used mode.

The 4.2-inch full colour connected dashboard is one of the most impressive in the class and features a main TFT display with Garmin Navigation*, as well as an LCD display. By downloading the MyRIde App to your smartphone, you can listen to music**, answer incoming calls**, view email and SMS notifications and more, enabling you to keep in touch with family, friends, and work.

From every angle it’s clear to see that the NMAX 155 Tech MAX has inherited the dynamic good looks and charisma from the iconic MAX family. Featuring premium MAX-inspired styling with boomerang motifs, full LED lighting, and compact bodywork, as well as a high-quality dual seat with a special black leather-look cover and gold stitching, suede detailing and welded embossing, making this a machine you’ll be proud to own.  The new NMAX 155 Tech MAX is available in Crystal Graphite and Midnight Black colours.
