Rapid Bike RACING2 - £519.00
Description
The new Rapid Bike RACING2 has been designed to be a benchmark in the racing sector and represents the most advanced technology to push a motorcycle to the top of performance, thanks to unique technical solutions such as the management of the crankshaft phase signal.
Thanks to a faster microprocessor, reduced size and weight, and the ability to modulate the signal in both Narrow Band and Wide Band, it offers improvements in terms of quality and reliability.
One of the main innovations is the intuitive APP manageable via smartphone. In addition to these new features, the Rapid Bike RACING2 retains all the advanced characteristics already present in the Rapid Bike RACING. The lambda probe signal management ensures the tuning of the exclusive self- adaptive function: the fuel mapping updates automatically while riding the vehicle.
The most innovative aspect of the new Rapid Bike RACING2 is the ability to select 3 customisable riding modes via the APP, each with 10 intensity levels: Eco: reduced performance to promote significant fuel savings Touring: optimised for urban riding, offering a balance between performance and efficiency Sport: maximum power and performance for a sporty riding experience
In addition the new Rapid Bike APP (available on the Apple App or Google store) for the EVO2 module kits includes a specific DIAGNOSE section to delete possible errors (check engine light). This tool/feature can be extremely useful to assist riders when installing de-cat aftermarket exhaust systems, as the EVO2 is designed with the main purpose to improve air/fuel ratio, to secure a smoother power delivery and to enhance the bike s rideability.
Rapid Bike started with the complete fuel mapping control of the EVO kit and added all the functionalities needed to be a reference in the racing sector: ADVANCE MAPPING with pick-up signal management for precise and accurate control of injection and ignition phases ENGINE BRAKE managed during deceleration, to eliminate rear wheel hopping during braking and improve vehicle stability in corners PIT-LANE LIMITER activatable with a handlebar switch, to reduce power output and maintain a constant speed in the pit lane DUAL SETTING for optimizing the main engine parameters thanks to the ability to select the best setting between two different presets in real time.
The control unit gains three new functions when paired with the new optional YOUTUNE controller, making the motorcycle even more performant and safer. TRACTION CONTROL: Its operation is based on precise control of the crankshaft phase signal to determine acceleration and limit it if it goes beyond the useful range for traction, sequentially and progressively cutting the injector signal. An easily adjustable system that ensures a contribution to safety and reliability in all riding conditions. LAUNCH CONTROL: When activated via YouTune, it allows for an “assisted” start by unlocking and controlling power delivery from the moment the clutch is engaged to achieve maximum acceleration. CRUISE LIMITER: When activated via YouTune, it allows limiting engine output within the engine speed maintained at that moment in a very progressive and smooth way to “contain” the engine’s exuberance, especially in traffic.
Other functions manageable in real time through the pairing of YOUTUNE with the RACING control unit are: QS modification of electronic shifter cut times while riding to achieve maximum shifting efficiency AFR modification of AFR target value of the self-adaptive or self-mapping function with My Tuning Bike to optimize fuel mapping in real time EB refinement of engine brake intervention to build better braking and cornering feel RPM visualization of a series of engine operation parameters and EB and TC intervention, as well as the activation of the cruise limiter when necessary
Another beneficial feature of the EVO2 and RACING2 kits is that the module is reprogrammable* and can be moved to a new motorcycle meaning that you will only need to purchase a new bike specific wiring harness which would be considerably cheaper than an entirely new complete kit. (*Software update to allow this feature is expected to be released in early 2026)
