Yamaha Motor Europe has announced its 2026 lightweight vehicle range, reinforcing its leadership in Lithium-Ion innovation across the Golf Fleet, Personal Transportation and Commercial Utility segments. The line-up is headlined by the return of the high-performance Drive² AC Li golf car and the introduction of the all-new UMX AC Li, a purpose-built electric utility vehicle designed for professional use.
Available across Europe from December 2025, the range blends Yamaha’s three key pillars, comfort, performance, and technology, to serve both leisure and business customers. Each model is engineered to deliver smooth handling, low maintenance, and sustainable power, with Lithium-Ion technology continuing to drive the brand’s evolution.
The Golf Fleet is led by the Drive² AC Li, which offers rapid acceleration, a maintenance-free Lithium-Ion battery with a lifespan of up to eight years, and the ability to handle 15° slopes with ease. The golf car is built for player satisfaction and fleet efficiency, with optional integration of Yamaha’s YamaTrack™ system to optimise operations.
For personal mobility, the Drive² PTV PowerTech Li delivers agile, quiet transport ideal for resorts, estates, and larger private properties, while the Drive² PTV PowerTech AC remains available for those seeking a robust electric option.
The newest addition, the UMX AC Li, expands Yamaha’s commercial segment with a fast-charging, all-electric utility vehicle equipped with a 5.0 kW motor, ergonomic seating, wide tyres, and substantial cargo capacity. Built for versatility, it’s ideal for parks, campuses, farms, and light off-road applications.
Across all segments, Yamaha offers a vibrant range of colours and the option to integrate YamaTrack™ for smarter golf car fleet management. With this expanded and refined line-up, Yamaha continues to set the standard for performance, durability, and environmental responsibility in the lightweight vehicle market.
